Pilgrim Tourism
Applicants identifying themselves as Pilgrim Tourists can apply online visa through Pakistan Online Visa System for religious tourism. This provision allows the applicants to visit places in Pakistan which have religious importance to them.
NOTE: Under Pilgrim Tourism and Tourist Visa categories, nationals of 192 Countries are eligible to apply – Under Pilgrim Tourist Category, Indian Nationals bearing legal permanent residence in a third country are also eligible to apply – Visa issued under both categories allow the applicant to travel all over Pakistan for tourism purposes as per the rules and regulations.
Application Type
You can apply for First Time (New) Single Entry Visa in the following sub – categories:
- Sikhs – Foreign National of Indian Origin
- Sikhs – He/She Must have valid proof of Legal and Permanent Residence in a Third country other than India
- Sikhs – Spouses and Children of applicants of Sub- category b
NOTE: Please Note: In the above sub-categories:
- Sikhs – He/She Must have valid proof of Legal and Permanent Residence in a Third country other than India
- Sikhs – Spouses and Children of applicants of Sub- category b
After submission of application, the applicants will be required to visit the nearest/selected Pakistani Mission for verification of documents. The applicant will be intimated regarding the need of visit via email on his email account provided by him in the application – The Applicant will be required to visit the Pakistan Mission within 2 Days at MAX(Please Make Sure that the provided email account is valid and functioning- Regularly check your email account for updates)
Eligibility
- Category “a – Foreign National of Indian Origin “:
- Nationals of 192 Eligible Countries for E-Visa residing in the same countries
- Category “b – Sikhs – He/She Must have valid proof of Legal and Permanent “:
- Must have valid proof of legal and permanent residence in a third country
- Category “c – Sikhs – Spouses and Children of applicants of Sub- category b”:
- In case of Spouse: The Husband/Wife OR In case of Children: Father/Mother of the applicants must have valid proof of legal and permanent residence in a third country other than India

Processing Time
Normally, it will take up to 10 working days. However, the issuance of Visa is the prerogative of the Government of Pakistan.

NOTE: You may plan your trip after acquiring Visa Grant Notice against your application
Please Note: : If the application is Sent Back for Review to the Applicant, the set processing time will be applicable again (The processing time will re-start from the date of re-submission of application).
The Application will stand cancelled if applicant doesn’t resubmit his/her application in Seven (7) days from the date of application sent for review.
