Citizens of foreign countries who intend to business/invest in Pakistan can apply for this visa.

Application Type

You can apply for two types of visas online :

Entry : You can apply for a new visa if you do not possess a valid Pakistan visa

Extension : You can apply for a visa extension if you possess a valid Pakistan visa and you are residing in Pakistan.

Eligibility

  • Citizens of foreign countries of BVL & non-BVL can apply for Investor Visa after completing the requirement.

Required Documents

For Business Investor Short Term 1 Year & 3 Years Entry Visa:

    1. Passport
    2. Photograph
    3. Any of the following;
      • Recommendation letter from Chamber of commerce and industry of respective foreign country
      • Invitation letter from business organization duly recommended by concerned trade body
      • Recommendation letter of BOI/Commercial Attaché of Pakistan/Head of Mission
      • Letter of existing business

For Long Term 5 Years (Entry) Visa and Extension

  1. Passport
  2. Photograph
  3. Any of the following;
    • Proof of investment in Pakistan in the shape of ownership of real estate worth more than USD 100,000
    • Proof of investment in companies/partnerships registered in Pakistan of not less than USD 50,000
    • Proof of balance in one or more foreign currency accounts in Pakistan of not less than USD 50,000
    • Proof of investment of any other kind of not less than USD 50,000
    • Recommendation of BOI
  • You are required to upload proof of legal residence,  in case you are not present in your home country and are applying for visa from a third country, it’s a mandatory requirement! The document can be uploaded in the supporting document type: Other
  • In Case of Extension– Please upload proof of Valid Pakistani Visa for which you are seeking Extension and Entry Stamp on your Passport in the supporting document type: Other

Duration and Validity

  • Business Investor Short Term 1 Year (Entry): 1 Year (Multiple Entries)
  • Business Investor Short Term 3 Year (Entry): 3 Years (Multiple Entries)
  • Business Investor Long Term (Entry): 5 years (Multiple Entries)
  • Business Investor Extension: 2 Years (Multiple Entries)
In case of extension, please make sure that you have a valid Pakistani Visa and are residing in Pakistan as well.

Processing Time

Issuance of Visa is the prerogative of the Government of Pakistan.

For BVL Countries:

  • Business Investor Short Term 1 Year (Entry): 24 Hours
  • Business Investor Short Term 3 Year (Entry): 24 Hours
  • Business Investor Long Term (Entry): 10 Days
  • Business Investor Extension: 2 Weeks

For NON- BVL Countries + Afghanistan:

  • Business Investor Short Term 1 Year (Entry): 4 Weeks
  • Business Investor Short Term 3 Year (Entry): 4 Weeks
  • Business Investor Long Term (Entry):  4 Weeks
  • Business Investor Extension: 2 Weeks
Please Note: : If the application is Sent Back for Review to the Applicant, the set processing time will be applicable again (The processing time will re-start from the date of re-submission of application).
The Application will stand cancelled if applicant doesn’t resubmit his/her application in Seven (7) days from the date of application sent for review.
