SIFC – Business Visa

Citizens of foreign countries who intends to business in Pakistan can apply for this visa.

Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA)

Interested businessmen from BVL countries can apply for the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) at least 24 hours prior to their intended date of travel by selecting visa sub-category “Business Short Term (Entry)“. You can travel to Pakistan if you receive a valid ETA in favor of your application. Visa will be granted upon arrival at the entry port.

Please Note: An ETA is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. Visa application will be cancelled if an applicant does not travel within prescribed period

Application Type

You can apply for two types of visas online:

Entry : You can apply for a new visa if you do not possess a valid Pakistan visa.

Extension : You can apply for a visa extension if you possess a valid Pakistan visa and you are residing in Pakistan.

Eligibility

  • Citizens of foreign countries of BVL & non-BVL can apply for SIFC Business Visa after completing the requirement.

Required Documents

    1. Passport
    2. Photograph
    3. Recommendation letter/Email by SIFC
  • You are required to upload proof of legal residence,  in case you are not present in your home country and are applying for visa from a third country, it’s a mandatory requirement! The document can be uploaded in the supporting document type: Other
  • In Case of Extension– Please upload proof of Valid Pakistani Visa for which you are seeking Extension and Entry Stamp on your Passport in the supporting document type: Other

Duration and Validity

  • Business Short Term (Entry): 6 Months (Single Entry) (ETA Validity 90 days for BVL Countries)
  • Business Long Term (Entry):  5 Years Validity (2 Years Duration) (Multiple Entries)
  • Business (Extension): 2 Years (Multiple Entries)
In case of extension, please make sure that you have a valid Pakistani Visa and are residing in Pakistan as well.

Processing Time

Issuance of Visa is the prerogative of the Government of Pakistan.

For BVL Countries: (visa.nadra.gov.pk/business-visa-list-bvl)

  • Business Short Term (Entry): 24 Hours for ETA (Visa will be granted upon arrival)
  • Business Long Term (Entry): 24 Hours
  • Business (Extension): 2 Weeks

For NON- BVL Countries + Afghanistan: (visa.nadra.gov.pk/non-bvl-countries)

  • Business Short Term (Entry): 4 Weeks
  • Business Long Term (Entry): 4 Weeks
  • Business (Extension): 2 Weeks
Please Note: : If the application is Sent Back for Review to the Applicant, the set processing time will be applicable again (The processing time will re-start from the date of re-submission of application).
The Application will stand cancelled if applicant doesn’t resubmit his/her application in Seven (7) days from the date of application sent for review.
