To promote investment in the country, the Government of Pakistan is granting 5 year Multiple Entry Business Visas to the businessmen of the countries listed under the following categories:

Foreigners intending to visit Pakistan in relation to the Reko Diq Project may apply under this category.

Application Type

You can apply for two types of visas online :

First Time (New) : You can apply for a new visa if you do not possess a valid Pakistan visa.

Extension : You can apply for a visa extension if you posses a valid Pakistan visa and you are residing in Pakistan.

Eligibility

  • Citizens of countries listed here are eligible to apply for this visa.

Required Documents

  1. Photograph
  2. Passport
  3. Proof of registration of company which is extending invitation (SECP/ Chamber of Commerce Certificate)
  4. Any of the following:
    • Recommendation letter from CC&I of respective foreign country
    • Invitation letter from business organization duly recommended by concerned trade organization in Pakistan – In order to get this REQUIRED DOCUMENT – Please apply through Pakistan’s E-Business Invitation Letter System – For More Details PLEASE CLICK HERE!
    • Recommendation letter by the honorary investment counselor of BOI/Commercial Attaché
Required Documents for Reko Diq Project
  1. Photograph
  2. Passport
  3. Invitation Letter from the Reko Diq Mining Company
  • You are required to upload proof of legal residence,  in case you are not present in your home country and are applying for visa from a third country, it’s a mandatory requirement! The document can be uploaded in the supporting document type: Other
  • In Case of Extension– Please upload proof of Valid Pakistani Visa for which you are seeking Extension and Entry Stamp on your Passport in the supporting document type: Other

Duration and Validity

  • A Business Visa may be granted for up to 5 years.
  • A Business Visa is valid for Multiple Entries in to Pakistan
In case of extension, please make sure that you have a valid Pakistani Visa and are residing in Pakistan as well.

Processing Time

Issuance of Visa is the prerogative of the Government of Pakistan.
  • Entry for Business Visa List countries :  24 Hours (Working Hours)
  • Entry for Non-Business Visa List countries : 4 Weeks (Working days)
  • Entry for Reko Diq Project (All Countries): : 24 Hours (Working Hours)
  • Extension : 4 Weeks (Working days)
Please Note: : If the application is Sent Back for Review to the Applicant, the set processing time will be applicable again (The processing time will re-start from the date of re-submission of application).
The Application will stand cancelled if applicant doesn’t resubmit his/her application in Seven (7) days from the date of application sent for review.
